The statistics are alarming: according to data from UNICEF Argentina (2022), 1 in 5 girls and 1 in 13 boys suffer or suffered sexual violence before the age of 18, and 90% of the aggressors are men. Of these cases, only 10% are reported, and of every 1,000 complaints, only one has a conviction.<\/p><p>Sexual violence is torture, as stated by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. The experiences of the survivors cause effects that accompany them throughout their lives.
