The stories of women's struggle for equality and good treatment have centuries, they do not have a single day.<\/p><p><br \/>On March 8, 1857, thousands of women organized a strike, and marched to demand fairer working conditions. They were detained by the police.<\/p><p><br \/>At the I International Conference of Socialist Women held in 1907, the feminist leader Clara Zetkin advocated for the female vote, and at the II Conference, in 1910, she proposed the celebration of an International Women's Day.<br \/><br \/>On March 25, 1911, workers in a shirt factory in New York, in unworthy working conditions, were burned. There are several versions, this one that relates that the owner prevented them from leaving the factory to attend a protest march, others say that they could not leave because the doors were in poor condition, that the fire was accidental and another, that the owners they started the fire. Does not matter. They could not leave and 129 women were burned to death. The owners were tried and the sentence was unintentional homicide. Men judged by men. For me, it was responsible for 129 femicides.<br \/><br \/>In the year 1911 is the first year in which International Women's Day is commemorated, there were marches.<br \/>1 million women demonstrated.<br \/><br \/>17,000 Russian women who marched on March 8, 1917, demanding food.<br \/><br \/>In Argentina, in October 2016, after a week in which there were 7 femicides, the Ni Una Menos movement emerged. One-hour women's walkouts were organized to raise awareness of the seriousness of gender-based violence. A commission.
