contribution against gender violence.<\/strong><\/p><p>During 2018 we developed and launched the free mobile application \\\"Red X Todos\\\", a tool for women in situations of gender violence. The app allows women to set up a help network with 3 trusted contacts, and in the event of a dangerous situation, with the press of a button the application sends an alert message every minute to the designated contacts with the geolocation of the victim, and at the same time establishes a call, hands-free to a pre-configured emergency number (101, police emergencies). The app also has information, advice and resources both for women victims of gender violence and for those who are part of its containment network.<\/p><p>From Shalom Bait we have been working on this project since 2015, which is the product of our years of experience in assisting women victims of gender violence and the mutual aid groups that operate in the institution, rescuing the importance of the network that each woman builds. It also arises from a diagnosis of reality: the decision to report is difficult, it takes time and in many cases women do not report. Furthermore, the violence does not stop when the woman complains, and the emergency situation is not predictable. We consider it important that each woman can create her own support network and break the isolation situation in which she generally finds herself, and thus involve society as a whole. RED X TODAS represents a social resource, since it is the women's network itself that joins by putting the body, with an affective commitment, in the face of an emergency. The app allows women to set up a help network with 3 trusted contacts, and in the event of a dangerous situation, with the press of a button the application sends an alert message every minute to the designated contacts with the geolocation of the victim, and at the same time establishes a call, hands-free to a pre-configured emergency number (101, police emergencies). The app also has information, advice and resources both for women victims of gender violence and for those who are part of its containment network.<\/p><p>From Shalom Bait we have been working on this project since 2015, which is the product of our years of experience in assisting women victims of gender violence and the mutual aid groups that operate in the institution, rescuing the importance of the network that each woman builds. It also arises from a diagnosis of reality: the decision to report is difficult, it takes time and in many cases women do not report. Furthermore, the violence does not stop when the woman complains, and the emergency situation is not predictable. We consider it important that each woman can create her own support network and break the isolation situation in which she generally finds herself, and thus involve society as a whole. RED X TODAS represents a social resource, since it is the women's network itself that joins by putting the body, with an affective commitment, in the face of an emergency.
