from the Jewish Women\u2019s Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago, an institution that has supported our legal assistance project \u201cThe law as an instrument of change\u201d for 9 years.<\/p><p>We had the opportunity to talk about our work and about the importance of having an area of \u200b\u200blegal advice and legal sponsorship within the framework of an interdisciplinary approach in assisting women victims of gender violence. We were able to share our experiences with them and they got to know the space where we carry out our activities.<\/p><p>This support allows us to continue to adequately accompany women who come to our institution, providing the legal advice that every woman in a situation of violence needs, as well as her daughters and sons. We respond to this need with a comprehensive vision, accompanying women to become aware and make use of their rights. This is part of the strengthening and empowerment process they carry out. We articulate the containment and psychological orientation with the legal aspects of the problem, providing legal advice and free legal sponsorship to women victims of gender violence in complaints of violence and also in those files related to the defense and protection of their children, such as food, communication regime, parental responsibility, personal care, divorce, and other causes from the Jewish Women\u2019s Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago, an institution that has supported our legal assistance project \u201cThe law as an instrument of change\u201d for 9 years.<\/p><p>We had the opportunity to talk about our work and about the importance of having an area of \u200b\u200blegal advice and legal sponsorship within the framework of an interdisciplinary approach in assisting women victims of gender violence. We were able to share our experiences with them and they got to know the space where we carry out our activities.<\/p><p>This support allows us to continue to adequately accompany women who come to our institution, providing the legal advice that every woman in a situation of violence needs, as well as her daughters and sons. We respond to this need with a comprehensive vision, accompanying women to become aware and make use of their rights. This is part of the strengthening and empowerment process they carry out.
