In the first half of 2014, 81 femicides have been recorded. According to the AMI Study Center, 52% of murdered women had already asked the State for help against their executor. 66% of the culprits came from the close circle, and in 60% of cases the violence began when the woman began the separation procedures.<\/p><p>On the other hand, in Spain there were 59 murders of women for reasons of gender during the first half of 2014. In Colombia, 514 women were murdered in the first half of 2013. In Mexico, 6.4 women are murdered per day on average in 2014.
